Big concert in old ballroom

Kammerfest Østfold has a desire to highlight young talent, and during this concert we heard Ola Sønstebø perform Concerto no. 1 for marimba, 1st and 4th movements by Ney Rosauro, in close collaboration with Per Lundberg on piano. Despite his young age, only 18, Sønstebø has already won several competitions both nationally and internationally.

The party concert at the Karpedammen stage at Akershus Fortress is free and a tradition for thousands of audience members. - We are proud to welcome this year's festive concert with Emelie Hollow, the Oslo Symphony Orchestra and talented students from Edvard Munch pre-school, Foss pre-school, Hartvig Nissens school, Subsdans Minions and Oslo Culture School, says Christin Lundevall, project manager and communications advisor at the Culture Agency, Popsenteret, Oslo council.
